Mice are where people camp. Usually mice or unwelcome guests. Apart from the fact that they nibble from food they will also destruct other items by gnawing. This tip explains ways to avert mice during camping.
 

• Seal food airtight and do not save it in the inner tent. When mice smell food they gnaw everything and might destroy the tent.
   

• Place all food in a sealed bag and hang the bag on a branch.
   

• Scare mice away with a jar filled with water and a few drops of eucalyptus oil.
   

• Use plastic containers which cannot be gnawed if possible.
   

• Smear peanut butter on a matchstick. Mice will eat the peanut butter and also the sulphur, which will kill them.
