Barbecuesaus stains
In the summertime many people have a barbecue addiction. Where there is barbecue there will be stains. This tip explains how to remove the stains from clothing, caused by spilling barbecue sauce.
First it is important to remove as much sauce as possible. This can be done by using a cloth or spoon for instance. Make sure not to rub too hard because this will make the stain penetrate the clothing.
Once most of the sauce has been removed the stains can be rinsed under the tap, with cold water. This will push most of the sauce out of the clothing.
When trying to remove a dried stain first soak it in cold water for about an hour.
After rinsing with cold water the stain can be treated with liquid detergent. Rub the detergent on the stain, let it soak for a few minutes and rinse it under the tap with cold water. Sometimes the stain has completely disappeared but in many cases some parts are still left. Use a special stain remover to remove the last parts. Follow the instructions of the stain remover and wash the clothing in the washing machine.
