Tomato soup, ketchup and spaghetti sauce all have tomatoes as base ingredient. Very annoying to spill this sauce on clothing. With these stains it is important to act fact to make sure the stains cannot set in the clothing. This tips provides a few options to remove these stains.

 

• Remove as much as possible by using a knife or spoon without damaging the clothing. After removing the biggest part the stain can be rinsed with warm water. Preferably add a dash of liquid detergent onto the stain. After this the clothing can be washed in the machine.
   
• Apply toothpaste onto the stain and let it soak for a while. Wash the clothing in the machine when done.
   
• If stains are still in the clothing even after they have been washed the cloths can be hung in the sun. Make sure they are wet when hanging them. The sun will slowly make the stain disappear.
